Fire retardant fiberglass mesh is a specialized type of fiberglass mesh ,made from fiberglass yarns woven together and then coated with a fire retardant latex or resin , it can resis fire and precent the spreading of flames, It is commonly used in building construction,particularly in Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS).

Fiberglass mesh provides structural reinforcement ,acting as a soft steel bar within EIFS and other system, resistant cracking and deformation.
Good alkali resistant, withstand the corrosive effect of cement.
Primary of fire retardant fiberglass mesh is to prevent or slow down the spread of fire, it is non combustible, not contributing to the flame.
